I was born at 06:52. Most of my life I've never been a morning person and 06:52 has always been considered early for me. The earliest record of when I tried waking up at 06:52 was on February 22, 2021.
I've tried getting up earlier by pushing the time back in 30 minute increments (06:22, 05:52, 05:22, 04:52, 04:22). After I did this 06:52 was not early enough for me. The 04:22 alarm only lasted 8 days, but as long as I get at least 6-7 hours of sleep, waking up early is something I enjoy.
Another strategy I've tried is before I go to bed I set my timer for 6 hours and 52 minutes. This puts a limit on the amount of time I spend in bed, but there are no set times for going to sleep and waking up.
I prefer using an alarm and having a set wake up time over using a timer. It gives my day more structure.
