Every time I try setting yearly goals I never accomplish them.
One of my goals that I wrote down 6 out of the past 12 years was to do something with this website.
- 2014: Start personal website
- 2018: Build personal website
- 2019: Launch cjara portfolio and blog
- 2020: Launch personal blog
- 2021: Publish personal website
- 2024: Launch cjara.com
I finally got that done this year and I didn't even set any goals for 2026. But I did make a rule for myself to write and create art every day and publish it on my website.
Giving myself rules leads to accomplishing things. So I don't need goals I need rules.
